Jenifer Kovacova

Jenifer, works as an interpreter, Community Support worker, and Youth Lead at Connecting Roma C.I.C. Being from a Roma background, she wanted to showcase the unique culture of Roma to those who do not know or understand it.

Jenifer's passion for music led her to create a theatre piece featuring two Roma movies and two western Hollywood movies, namely Titanic and Grease. Through these movies, she aimed to highlight the similarities and acts used in Roma culture, such as the dance scene in Titanic, which is relatable to the way Roma dance.
